We are very excited to have our logo design for G-Will Liquors featured in the latest LogoLounge Book! This is our second logo design award. Check out our framed certificate, and the logo in the book. Our logo was selected from 37,000 logos from more than 125 countries internationally and judged by the top graphic designers of the world.
We were thrilled when G-Will Liquors asked us to rebrand their identity and create a new responsive web design. As liquor enthusiasts, this project was right up our alley.
G-Will Liquors has 7 Twin Cities locations and has been around for nearly 40 years. To play up their history, we incorporated a retro beer barrel into their logo. We gave it an updated look while paying homage to their history by using a clean, modern San Serif font for the name, combined with a classic Serif font for the “Est. 1978”. We kept their established color scheme to maintain familiarity and to stay true to their origins.
In addition to the logo redesign. We also redesigned their website. We designed a fresh, clean look for their website and made it responsive on all devices. To create a better customer experience, the new site makes it easy to find all the specials and offered products. We prominently displayed all ongoing promotions and divided them into 3 categories (wine, beer, and spirits). The new site is easy to navigate and provides all the information G-Will customers would want, including an easy to use event calendar, club card sign up, location maps and job submissions. Since G-Will Liquors’ specials are constantly changing, we worked hard to provide a backend to make it easy for them to update prices and promotions on their own.
